Our Tiny Bathroom

Our Tiny Bathroom

The least "seen" room in our bus is the bathroom...and really when is the bathroom ever shown all the time?!

The reason for this is the fact that our bathroom is only 5x5 and almost impossible to take good images of! In every picture in this post I am smooshed up against the wall to try and fit in as much as possible!

When planning the bathroom I knew it would, of course follow along with the white, black and grey theme just like the rest of the bus. So we kept things simple, clean and modern! The links to buy everything in our bus are at the bottom of this post.

In the build of the bus there were quite a few changes made to the bathroom that we weren't happy about.

First of all, 3 inches were added to the bathroom width, leaving an awkward gap between the tub and the sink cabinet (and also shrinking our hallway!!). We also planned to keep the countertop wood to match the kitchen but it got painted over and that was SO disappointing!!

A few of our favorite things...

  • We LOVE the stool that pulls out from underneath the cabinet...it was a Pinterest idea that I had that was an absolute win!
  • We're so glad we have a large sink and we're happy with how much storage we have.
  • We're happy with the fact that we chose to go with a flushing toilet and not a composting toilet.

A few things we would change...

We haven't used the shower as much as we thought we would because of our (many) plumbing issues and because we're living at an RV park, there are plenty of showers for us to use and it's really just turned into our laundry basket most of the time!!

Overall...the bathroom is one of the trickiest areas in the bus! We have to keep the cabinets very organized so that we don't get overwhelmed in such a tiny space and we have storage organization posts coming your way soon!!

As always, ask any questions you have in the comments! The links to everything in our kitchen are below >
